October 1- 5

The first week of October was a great week on the Hooked Up to catch kingfish and wahoo, bonita's, wahoo and blackfin tuna. We started off with Thomas, Scott, Alex and Mike from Florida catching bonita's and loading up on the kingfish and then we had the Merrill Lynch Group out with us again and they caught 2 nice wahoo's and 4 blackfin tuna's. Way to go Guys! Our next trip was Ron, Harvey, Ira and Kristian from American Express and they landed bonita's and kingfish. On the 5th we took Chris and Brian from Coral Springs, Florida out in the morning and they landed kingfish and then our afternoon trip was Mark and Tonya from here in Ft. Lauderdale and they landed 4 kingfish as well. A nice week of fising everyone!

October 6- 12, 2003

The Hooked Up had another great week of fishing catching wahoo, dolphin fish, kingfish, tuna, amberjacks, trigger fish, skipjacks, barracuda and vermillions. Our first group out this week had a great morning! We had Joe, John and Kari from Tampa and they landed a 30 pound wahoo, a dolphin fish and a super nice sailfish! Way to go!!!! That afternoon we had Sharon and Yvonne from Virginia and they landed kingfish, spanish mackrel and had a great time catching trigger fish! Next out on the Hooked Up was Mike from Georgia and he caught a kingfish and then we had Bob and Diane from Fairlon, New Jersey and they caught 2 wahoo's and a tuna. Mid week we had John, Brian and Bob from Washington, DC and New York and they landed 3 amberjacks, a skipjack and a blackfin tuna. Nice Catch! Out next on the Hooked Up was Mike and Kim from Connecticut and they caught their limit on kingfish and a nice dolphin and had such a great time fishing with us they came back later in the month to fish and watch the Marlins and the Yankees play. Late in the week we took Jay fishing and he landed kingfish and skipjacks and that afternoon Brice from Michigan went out and landed a boat load of kingfish. On the 12th we took Julie, Gina and Charka from here in Ft. Lauderdale out in the morning and they landed a 30 pound wahoo, 3 kingfish, a barracuda and 7 vermillions. Way to Go!!! Our last trip this week was Mark Sr., Mark Jr., Jimmy, Vick and Jim from Chicago and they had a great afternoon catching 2 huge barracuda's, 2 huge kingfish, several smaller knigfish and a cero mackrel! What a way to end the week!

October 13 - 25, 2003

Fishing is still red hot from Mid-month to the last week we fished. We started off with Michele, Brenda, Ross, Rebecca and George from Virginia and they landed kingfish and skipjacks and then we had Brian, Jon, Tim and John from St. Louis and they had a good afternoon landing kingfish. Later we had Ken from New York and he also landed several kingfish. Out next was Elaina, Glenn, Brian, Todd and Aubrey from MA. and they caught a cero mackrel and 4 nice kingfish. On the 19th we took the Champion Group out from Florida and Boston and they caught a barracuda and that afternoon Jack, Marla and Zeb from North Carolina and Florida went out with us and they caught 7 kingfish, some jacks and 12 vermillions. Nice catch! Out next was Billy, Tommy, Ronnie, Jeff, Al and Joe from Boston and they landed 2 barracuda's, 2 blackfin tuna's and 3 kingfish. Our last trip for this month was Robert, Joe, Mike, Dennis, Tom, and Paul from New York and they caught 2 cero mackrels, and 5 kingfish. After this trip we pulled the Hooked Up out of the water and went to the boat yard for all the annual maintenance and our marine inspection. Get ready for November - We will be back in the water and ready for another month of great fishing and lots of fun!
